What is the relationship between global networks and military use?

On top of that, global network is any communication network which spans the Earth. Military technology is the application of technology for use. What is the difference between star shaped network typology and distributed network typology?

In my opinion, star shaped typology is much simpler and cheaper to implement, compared to distributed typology. It provides far much better performance. Performance of the network is subordinated on the capacity of core hub. Since the endpoints operated independently, the security of the network improved. If node is ruined, the network is still completed and imploded. However, the disadvantage of star typology is that the network footprint is limited to the maximum transmission range. Too much dependency on central device has blemish.

What’s more, each device on distributed network typology can direct traffic to other devices very quickly. We can easily alter the size of the network. For instance, I bring my Macbook to another room and then it can automatically connect to the WiFi in the room. Adding range to this network typology is not a huge puzzle. It can self-optimize and explore the best route to deliver message.

The cons of distributed network typology are enhanced workload and power consumption for each node. Improving the range of the system can plus a variety of unwanted complications because of the relevant increased in the data load. This is significantly bigger task than a traditional system. Thus, different network typology has its own advantages and disadvantages. They can embrace larger and larger territories of people and resources. We should select the most useful and safety network to use in military use and to enhance our life!
